Brian Morrisey drove and Christopher Robin and I went along. We met up with Joe Pachinko, Bill Taylor and his lovely wife Anise, and it was great. Joie always keeps it short they told me. And it was short but awesome. It was one of the best readings I’ve seen since I can remember (we were all standing in the back in a corner btw).  Got a couple of pics, nothing great.  Afterwards she came and sat with us and read us a David Lerner poem he wrote for her, I felt like I experienced something very rare when she read it.  It was AMAZING and I’ll never forget it.     Then me and my homies all went and ate and drank and made fun of gay clown porn.  Good night all around.  Seeing Joie read was inspiring.
